M. Edwin Prudhomme, a local attorney, was chosen as a recipient for the Decoration of Honour in Gold for Services Award conferred by the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Dr. Heinz Fischer. The Decoration was presented by Karin Proidl, Consul General of Austria-Los Angeles. Prudhomme was the first Nevadan to receive the  Decoration of Honour, one of Austria’s highest awards for his commitment and outstanding services in representing the Austrian government.

Mr. Prudhomme, a prominent immigration and foreign trade attorney, recently retired from serving as Honorary Consul for Austria for the State of Nevada.  He formally served as a Federal Immigration Judge and is Board Certified in Immigration Law (TBLC). His firm has offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, Houston, Texas and Vienna, Austria.  He is a member of the Clark County , Houston, Texas and State of Texas Bar Associations.
